At the 2014 APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Beijing, leaders from 21 APEC economies made following declaration on APEC Cooperation Network on Green Supply Chain (GSCNET):“We positively value the APEC High-level Roundtable on Green Development and its declaration, and agree to establish the APEC Cooperation Network on Green Supply Chain. We endorse the establishment of the first pilot center of APEC Cooperation Network on Green Supply Chain in Tianjin, China, and encourage other economies to establish pilot centers and advance related work actively.”

On Jun 16,2015,Launching Workshop of APEC Cooperation Network on Green Supply Chain Tianjin Pilot Center was held in Tianjin Yujiapu Financial District-the central district of Tianjin Free Trade Zone, co-organized by Ministry of Environment Protection(MEP) and Tianjin Municipal Government.
