China Classification Society (CCS) is a specialized inspection and certification body established with the approval of the governmental authority and in accordance with relevant laws. Its predecessor is the Register of the Shipping of PRC. It was the unique professional body which might engage in shipping classification survey.It serves transportation, offshore exploitation, energy, manufacture, service, trade and insurance industries through the provision of technical criteria and standards as well as inspection, certification and technical consultation services for ships, offshore installations, containers, relevant equipment and products, and other land-based industrial products.
China Classification Society Certification Company (CCSC) is a special body of CCS engaged in land-based inspection and certification business. Our service scopes range from QMS, EMS, OHSMS, EnMS, Energy and CPC party construction management system certification to container and industrial product inspection and certification, energy conservation and emission reduction validation, training and technical service, and Security Product Standard Assessment etc.

The Company’s certification qualification has been approved by Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People's Republic of China (abbreviated as CNCA) and accredited by China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (abbreviated as CNAS) and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (abbreviated as UKAS). CCSC CCSC mainly engages in QMS, EMS, OHSMS, Management System Certification of CPC Party Organization Construction, Information Security Management System Certification and Energy Management System Certification. The product certification business puts the focus on the wind power equipments and other new enegy products, communication products and erengy saving and enviormental protection products. The business scope covers 13 types products in the voluntary products certification area.
CCSC is the earliest and biggest container inspection agency in China, and also the only specialized inspection body authorized by the Chinese government. CCSC has obtained the authorization from Maritime Safety Administration of the PRC, General Administration of Customs of the PRC, and Hong Kong Marine Department. As a third-party notarial survey body, CCSC has been granted the qualification in industrial product supervision jointly by General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and National Development and Reform Commission. CCSC has become the CDM Designated Operational Entity of the United Nations, and thus obtained the authorization to carry out CDM validation and verification in 11 sectors.
